Paz: para la Manos
de Magicas Arte Exhibit. This was a cool piece made of clay. I had to
sculpt away til I could get the little guy to stand out. I used regular
modelling paints to add color and stained a 4" wood base for it
to sit on.
Airbrush: This is some of my airbrush art. I have been airbrushing
for over 15 years now. Still learning something new everyday! I moonlight at Edwards Theater with Darwin of Airbrush Bros and mostly at AirGrafix in Almeda Mail with owner Kelly, Clavo and Butter. Learn something new everytime I work with these guys! So, you can usually find me working from home or kicking it with these guys! Click the photo link below to view
some of my work or look me up on Facebook under mistabuggs.
Digital illustration: This
a drawing that my best friend David drew. I am probably one of the biggest
fans of his art. He draws badd ass skulls and has a knack and great
eye for the whole Dia de Los Muertos style. Truly an inspiration to
color it in PS once he showed me.
GTX: I liked this car. Yet
another projected started based on inspiration from something I saw
or perhaps a movie. Hmmm...not sure. But it has alot of detail so far.
I like to get down to the workings of a model. Sometimes bites me in
the butt because it takes a little longer but its well worth it in the
end. Don't worry, I'll finish it one day.
39 Chevy: I started
this awhile back. I really like this body style. The only thing that
I have in question are the door hinges. Unlike regular hinges, these
sit on the outside. I'm sure that I will figure something out to make
them resemble the real thing tho, just need to do more research.
64 Chevy Impala: This is my real 64 Impala that we have been working
on for what seems like years now! lol I acquired this car from a friend of mine that was
on his way to the Air Force. Thx G-Ride! Throughout the years the car has been driven,
parked, stolen, driven again and stored...up until now! I have managed, with
the help of a good friend, Joe Arguijo and his brother-in-law Angel,
to tear this thing down to the last nut and bolt! With only pocket change
and no major sponsors...I foot the bill while Joe and Angel contribute
valuable knowledge. I get most of my parts from Last Minute Customs. Thanks for the help Bruce & Tim. You guys are ah may zing builders! Together, with the help of other friends as well, we all have faced many obstacles in putting
it back together but its coming along pretty good now. Its certainly
not a LRM show quality build but we're pretty proud of our weekend garage
project! And that's good enough for us! Click to view pics below.
